Literature has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I'm a former literature teacher, and I love returning to the writers and stories that have something enduring to say about being human. You'll see elements of that throughout my content.

In my free time, I’m usually listening to old jazz, reading, watching a film, visiting an art museum, or making seasonal changes around my home—especially for fall and Christmas, my favorites.

I’m the mother of grown children and grandmother of nine. Time with family is my greatest joy.
