There’s something about spring that inspires us to begin again.

If you’ve been craving a sense of renewal or just a little more beauty in your everyday life, here are a few simple ways to enjoy the season in an intentional way.

  1. Play this In a Nancy Meyer's Film playlist I created that’s inspired by her movies. It’s filled with tunes from the '60s and '70s that’ll make you want to get up and dance. It’s perfect to have on while cooking or taking a walk through your neighborhood to notice what’s beginning to bloom.

  2. Get cozy and watch one of these feel-good old Hollywood musicals that feel like spring. A few of my favorites: April in Paris, Royal Wedding, State Fair, Easter Parade, and Seven Brides for Seven Brothers

  3. Change your phone background to this free spring iPhone wallpaper I created. It’s a simple way to bring a little beauty into your everyday moments.

  1. Visit a local farmer’s market and take your time. Notice the colors, the textures, and enjoy visiting with the vendors.

  2. Choose one small space in your home to declutter — a drawer, a countertop, or a corner that’s been collecting things. Clear it, and let the space feel open again.

  3. Pick up a small bundle of spring blooms from your local grocery store or garden center. Tulips, daffodils, hyacinths, or ranunculus — fresh flowers, flowering bulbs, and plants uplift the whole atmosphere of a room.

  4. Bake an iced lemon loaf and enjoy it with a cup of tea. I love this recipe!

  1. Open your windows, even if just for a little while, and let fresh air move through your home.

  2. Take a short walk without your phone and simply notice what’s around you. Practicing these small moments of silence helps calm our nervous system, as I wrote about in this blog post.

  3. In your journal, answer this writing prompt: During this season of renewal and new growth, what am I ready to release—both in my home and within myself? Let your words guide your intentions this spring.

I hope this season is a lovely reset for you and a return to what feels simple and meaningful.

Many blessings to you and those you love this spring…
